Foreword

This portal was requested by Kunzig Shamar Rimpoche in order to gather in an unique spot all the Kagyus centres which sustain the 17th Karmapa, Trinley Thaye Dorje.

The project of this site is to become a platform on which all the Kagyu centres can be gathered. It is a space where the different sanghas can be present with their own identity and having all the same heart : Gyalwa Karmapa. The purpose of this project is to have the different communities collaborate together for the development of the Karma Kagyu's lineage.

For the moment, we have been established a simple gate, a crossroad where each center interested by the project can be linked. But progressively, this site will develop on the level of the reflection (the history of the lineage..) as well as on the technical level (search engine…).

Shamar Rimpoche asked the web team of Dhagpo Kagyu Ling (the European seat of Gyalwa Karmapa) to organize this gate and give life to it. Contacts have already been taken with the different Rimpoches, the people responsible of the centers, and the webmasters of the various sites already existing.

Announcement :

Shamar Rimpoche has requested an official index of the Karma Kagyu centers troughout the world.

This index aims to connect the Karma Kagyu community and facilitate communication between the centers.
