10-11 September 2005 : Gulina, Spain
HH Karmapa arrived at the Mikyö Dorje Centre, Gulina on Friday 9th September where he was received by the Venerable Lama Teunsang and the Venerable Lama Chogdup Dorje (the director of the Centre) as well as by numerous Buddhist practitioners who had come from all over Spain and France.
On the 10th and 11th HH gave a teaching on Bodhiccita and the Milarepa Empowerment in Pamplona (in the Three Kings Hotel) to the approximately 500 people who had the opportunity to attend.
In the privacy of the Centre, HH Karmapa transmitted the "lung" for the Guru Yoga of the XVI Karmapa. He also directed the Mahakala and Chenresi practices after being told that the latter was the main practice at the Centre.

07- 08 September 2005 : Paris, France
His Holiness Gyalwa Karmapa arrived in Paris. In the evening he gave teachings on “Wisdom and Compassion” and blessing to approximately 700 people.
On the 08, the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa Thaye Dorje gave the Sangye Menla initiation.

Teachings on Refuge and Bodhisattva vow to about 600 people.

26- 28 August 2005 : Vienna, Austria
At the University of Vienna His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa Thaye Dorje gave the Sarasvati initiation and teachings on the 6 Paramitas to about 350 participants.
In the morning His Holiness the 17th Karmapa was blessing children at the Karma Kagyu Sangha Center in Vienna.
In the evening the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa Thaye Dorje gave the White Tara initiation to 300 people at the University of Vienna.
Mauthausen 27.08.2005
In the morning His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa Thaye Dorje visited the former Nazi concentration camp in Mauthausen together with Khenpo Choedrag Rinpoche and members of Karma Kagyu Sangha. They were reciting the 35 Buddha Sutra and the Sangye Monlam in the gas chamber.

21 August 2005 : Dhagpo Kagyu ling, France
Dorje Sempa Empowerment conferred by Gyalwa Karmapa Thaye Dorje. 1400 people attended this afternoon the empowerment of Dorje Sempa which was granted by Gyalwa Karmapa.

20 August 2005 : Dhagpo Dargye ling, France
Gyalwa Karmapa paid a visit Dhagpo Dargye Ling. The stupa which is in the process of being build was consecrated as well as the substances which are destined to fill it. In the afternoon Gyalwa Karmapa gave the empowerment of four armed Chenrezig at Dhagpo Kagyu Ling.

19 August 2005 : Dhagpo Dedrol ling, France
This morning, while Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche gave explanations on the meaning of the Bodhisattva vows, Thaye Dorje, the 17th Karmapa paid a visit to Dhagpo Dedrol Ling, the lay retreat centre in the neighbourhood of Dhagpo Kagyu Ling. He met with the retreatants of the three year retreat, consecrated the new shrine room and answered questions of practitioners. In the afternoon he gave Buddhist Refuge and the Bodhisattva Promise at Dhagpo Kagyu Ling

The subject of this afternoon's teaching of Thaye Dorje, the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, was on The Six Paramitas, the six qualities which lead to enlightenment.

17 August 2005 : Dhagpo Kagyu ling, France
In the presence of 1100 people the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa gave teachings on the Four Noble Truths, after having received the ritual offerings of a universal mandala and the symbolic offerings of enlightened Body, Speech, Mind, Qualities and Activities.
In the morning, the sangha accumulated the mantra Karmapa Kyenno thereby preparing themselves spirtually for the arrival of Karmapa.

10 August 2005 : Bratislava, Slovakia
His Holiness the 17th Karmapa Trinlay Thaye Dorje, on his first visit to Slovakia, gave the Chenrezig initiation to 1800 people at the PKO Cultural Hall in Bratislava.

His Holiness the 17th Karmapa Trinlay Thaye Dorje was the guest of honor at an interfaith reception to celebrate Friendship and Trust, at St Ethelburga's Centre for Reconciliation and Peace, London. In the presence of the Bishop of London, His Holiness and spiritual leaders from the Hindu, Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Sikh and Jain faiths unveiled a Japanese tapestry, "People of the World". H.H. 17th Karmapa also delivered the keynote speech. The event was hosted by The Hindu Forum of Britain.

His Holiness the 17th Karmapa gave Buddhist Refuge, the Bodhisattva Promise and the Marpa initiation to over 700 participants in the Friends Meeting House, London.

06 August 2005, London, Uk
His Holiness the 17th Karmapa Thaye Dorje gave explanations on Buddhist Refuge and Bodhisattva Promise in the Friends Meeting House in London, the same venue where H.H. the 16th Karmapa gave the Black Crown Ceremony in 1976. Following the explanations, 100 people took Refuge and over 700 participants received the Bodhisattva Promise.

His Holiness the 17th Karmapa Trinlay Thaye Dorje arrived in the United Kingdom for the first time in his 17th incarnation.

03 August 2005, Kiev, Ukraine
H.H. the 17th Karmapa Trinlay Thaye Dorje gave the Marpa initiation to over 2400 participants in the National Palace "Ukraine" in Kiev, Ukraine. H.H. visit was widely covered by major Ukrainian media.

02 August 2005, Kiev, Ukraine
On his first visit to Ukraine H.H. the 17th Karmapa gave explanations on Buddhist Refuge and Bodhisattva Promise in the National Palace "Ukraine" in Kiev. Following the explanations, 400 people took Refuge and over 2.300 participants received the Bodhisattva Promise.

His Holiness the 17th Karmapa Trinlay Thaye Dorje arrived on the 1st Aug 2005 in Ukraine having been invited by the Diamond Way Buddhist Association of Ukraine. It was H.H. first visit in the country. On the 2nd Aug H.H. met with representatives of the Diamond Way Buddhist Centers in Ukraine.

H.H. the 17th Karmapa gave the Empowerment on Dukar to 4,400 Dharma practitioners from Germany and around the world.

H.H. the 17th Karmapa gave Buddhist Refuge and the Bodhisattva Promise, together with explanations of these central aspects of Buddhism to 3,200 Dharma practitioners from Germany and around the world.
